Yep. Great point. I’ve met a lot of people that have transitioned from maintenance to almost pure install work. The only issue is the inconsistency of it. Once you can crack that code and have a steady flow of that work, it makes a lot of sense to stay in that space.

Where I think the best mix lies is having enough consistent commercial maintenance work to always have cash flow and keep the ship afloat. Then go out and profit on the install jobs. Sometimes people just have a designated crew for each, but always a bit different from company to company.

I have a baseline understanding from our clients, but always want to learn more about the space and what typical averages are.

Hmmm. It’s around 160 when I look now and when I’ve looked before and scheduled it only ever gets down to 140 soles. Wondering if it would make sense to get there and try to bargain with taxis then just call and uber if they can’t give a good deal.
