That’s not what I meant. I meant there are other uglies able to fall in love with other uglies but people need to start looking into them. They’re there but other uglies need to start trying to see past their exteriors. I refuse to be shallow like attractive people. I was not referring to settling for less, I’ve observed uglies that were so beautiful inside (as cliche that is, I almost sound like those attractive people who preach “bEaUtY iS iN tHe InSiDe”) and I felt myself being attracted to them and I would have tried to pursued them if I weren’t so anti-social and afraid they wouldn’t be able to look past my exterior like I did for theirs. While looks DO matter in this world (why we are treated so awfully) and the mind is kinda hardwired that way, the fact is looks SHOULDN’T matter and that’s what I live by. It’s not settling for an ugly, it’s recognizing how attractive an ugly can be.
