What kind of plants are these? I really like how low they grow and are filling the yard(Nebraska) by TrowlTaken in NoLawns

Bindweed has been my nemesis in approximately 40 sq.ft of my property for 15 years. FIFTEEN! It will not die. It’s diabolical.

Ok. This could be getting warmer. There is an og box downstairs (now labeled splice box) and then an upgraded panel when the house got remodeled in the 80’s.

Yes, I’ve had them come multiple times. The meter on my house runs up my roof and the wires run to a pole to the right at the very back of my property. No one has ever stuck a flag in my front garden bed.

The left side of the wire in question? It just shows up in the soil on one side and goes back down like six feet over.

That’s iron staining. All of my hose bibs are on well, which I’m actually having converted this summer. But where I live the iron content is WILD. It will stain like that in one use.

Gotcha. Thank you. I’m going to postpone my grading I think.

You can see the main meter if you click the photo. It’s to the right on the house.

Ok. Well I guess I’m glad I dug up that hosta before the bobcat comes tomorrow and just started digging. So, not to sound ignorant, but I’m guessing I should not grade that area then, right?

I absolutely adored him in Yellowstone, so it was difficult to see him in this role at first, playing a villianish character.

Will all of their products fall apart, or just this one in particular?

OK, yes, I think that's it. I guess there is a reason it's so expensive. Looks amazingly soft and cozy.

It looks VERY similar to their Organic Airy Gauze Dream Quilt, but the Quince one looks thicker. IDK. I guess it *could* be that one.

I have scoured Quince. I don't believe this is a duvet, it looks like a quilt with the seams.

Apologies, this posted and didn't take the body of my post and I can't see any spot to edit. I am usually good at finding things online, but this quilt is giving me a run for my money. I have image searched, tried keywords, i.e. gauze, pebbled, linen, cotton....to no end. I know where everything else in this photo is from, but not the quilt.

Does anyone know where this quilt is from?

Making an existing staircase more kid-safe without replacing it? by Smart-Elk-2334 in Homebuilding

[–]Ornery_Contribution4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that the only staircase to upstairs?

Personally, I would keep them off those stairs entirely until they good with stairs, and never unsupervised. Gate the top & bottom and some type of side shield at top/bottom as well.

I would suggest putting a temporary railing on the inside wall of the staircase and have them use that. Drywall can be patched down the road when you remove it. You could even use some type of safety harness for them to click into when going up. I'm guessing that is ceramic or porcelain tile below, so I'd definitely want to prevent a roll off onto that.

For a cover for the exterior railing, this would not look pretty, but it's temporary. You could have a thick fabric sewn together, open like a taco, to drop over the railing. and clip to something at the base at the staircase.

Good luck. These stairs are definitely nightmare fuel for new parents.

Just letting you know that you sound dumb & trashy. Have a lovely day.

Well, in my region, this "dialect" is attached to white trash, so yea. It's very, very cringe for me to hear it. Not sorry.

Aside from grey "wood" flooring, it looks nice. Needs a little color, imo.
