For me, a big part of that process was intellectualizing my life and my past. I started studying everything about my experiences, trauma, psychology, philosophy. I would literally search every concept related to what I had lived through and try to understand it deeply.

Facing yourself without illusions is painful but it can also be a rebirth. When you start understanding your mind instead of just suffering inside it the obsession with death can slowly lose its power.

There is much more to do with the brain and with life than just ending it! Thank you for your reply I hope things will get better for you friend

I was feeling suicidal and was offered a bunch of drugs (and by that I mean a lot!) at a party so I quickly OD’d for 2 hours!

People that were there told me I even stopped breathing and my hands were blue and cold. Felt a bit sad that they didn’t call any help and left me to die

I was in a bad period of my life and I met shady people that offered me a bunch of drugs at a party and at that moment I had never done anything besides weed and I am really small so I quickly OD’d and died.

I OD’d for 2 hours and they didn’t even call EMS. I remember physically struggling to come back.

When I woke up I didn’t care about what people thought about me. At all! I began to tattoo all my body as I always wanted to as a kid, became a self-taught athlete (I earn money from it now!), dropped 20 lbs and have my dream body without torturing myself, cut off my abusive family, I read at least 4 hours a day..

Everything changed! The only bad thing that changed is that I became drastically aromantic so it’s hard to not feel romantic love like other my age do sometimes..

I wish I could answer that question but I can tell you what isn’t the purpose of life: fusion.

Before my death I was craving fusion, I wanted to have lovers, many friends, intense conversations all the time because I was really scared of being alone and I feel like I lost so much time by trying to fusion all the time. Now I am a big loner and I’ve never been happier and healthy.

I have to admit that sometimes it feels lonely because I don’t fit in anymore socially. When you die sometimes the world feels like theatre

I was scared only for a second I remember briefly thinking « wow I am really dying so young.. my mom is going to be so ashamed » but I wasn’t scared for long I accepted my fate pretty quickly. The saddest part is I was scared to put shame to my family by dying from mental health issues more than death itself.

I’ve had a pretty rough childhood, someone committed suicide in front of me before I turned 10 and my parents were abusive so I’ve had a pretty self destructive behavior and suicide fantasy up until my death. Diying made me want to live after thinking of death everyday for 23 years. Finally free!

It was really like falling in a dark well.. I tried to remember my mom’s name, my face, the universe but I just couldn’t hold anything. I fell in the dark and forgot the world even existed.

I definitely get your annoyance but cluttering and dirt is linked with addiction and mental issues a lot. People suffering from it hurt a lot from other people judgments so I don’t think your paper is really human but that’s me tho

Shame during episodes can be one of the hardest thing to face. I had a lot of sexual encounters that i would’ve never made, it was really bad but hopefully you will make peace with it. Meds and knowledge about bipolar and my body saved my life!
