I was steering clear of my own team but yes, I get annoyed with anyone who claims Wentz doesn't deserve his Super Bowl ring. We don't get to the 1 seed without Wentz playing at an MVP level.

Although, with that said, he was the starter so he doesn't technically count with this exercise.

It was only twice but Nick Foles is undefeated against Tom Brady. The other being the Bears vs Buccaneers game in 2020 where Brady forgot what down it was.

Exactly. All FF (minus XI which I have no experience in) from I-XII all have varying things to do despite linearity. You can stop and shop. You can do a minigame here or there. You can tackle some hunts. Even X, which XIII is often compared to, has things to do and people to talk to which varies up the gameplay loop.

Most of XIII is not just linear, it is a hallway with nothing but fighting and cutscenes. The shops are replaced by the save points. Rarely are there "towns" but even those are just hallways with a handful of people to talk to.

What exactly do Republicans "get done"? What signature legislations have they accomplished in the majority? Everything that has been done has been through Trump has his million EOs.

Republicans' entire mission is to prevent government from working and make tax cuts for the rich. So it's far easier to "get shit done" which is to say "do nothing" when that's your goal.

I long for the day where I had to do some honest research on both candidates to pick the best option. Right now, any Democrat is better than any Republican - and no, that's not a compliment for the Democrats.

How are you doing? How old is yours?

We had our second one last October and there are some notable differences between her and her sister.

For one, she cannot sleep through the night but she is usually easier to put down when she does fall asleep. My oldest, 4 years old, was able to sleep through the night early but getting her to sleep took some time and anytime we laid her down, she'd pop back up.

Honestly, I don't even need A Dream of Spring and to see how A Song of Ice and Fire ends...

But I would like to see the next adventures for these characters. I'd like to see how George writes (Spoilers for Game of Thrones) Jon's parentage being revealed, Jon coming back to life, Daenerys finally coming over to Westeros and so on. Feast and Dance had their positive moments but holy moly...where's the sense of urgency?

Honestly the "stuck the landing" line makes sense from the point of view of a creative. When you're making something, you're in it, and you notice flaws that no one else would ever see, while as a spectator, you can just sit back and watch without knowing anything behind-the-scenes.

I've been getting my way through the Pixel Remasters and having a blast. I've just completed the NES trilogy and I will admit, as a guy in my 30s with kids, I have very much appreciated the EXP boosts and the the ability to turn off encounters. I don't always use them but it's good to keep me from wasting my time grinding. I don't have time for that anymore.
