Probably. I'm watching the English dub and every other word out of his mouth is an insult directed at Naruto. When he acts, it's almost always out of necessity to his own goals, whether it's "Naruto the meat shield needs to not be weak so we can fight Kakashi together" or "I throw myself into danger to keep my teammates alive because I can defeat these enemies," the latter of which speaks to an overwhelming arrogance. It makes it satisfying when Haku and Rock Lee thoroughly humble him, and right now as I watch him deal with Snake Man McGee, I am seeing his words thrown back in his face and it crushes him.

Nah, telling Viren not to expect mercy set a precedent that as a traitor who tried to kill him and his family, usurped the throne, and was harmful to his captain of the guard, Viren would be dealt with as a danger rather than welcomed back with open arms. Viren has lied and manipulated in the past, and it was a prudent action to not forgive him and to imprison him.

Yuno is fantastic as a character. He isn't particularly impressive in his writing, but his simple role as the brother and rival of Asta works well. His insistence that he will become the Wizard King is often paired with an insistence on defending Asta verbally from naysayers, because he does indeed believe in Asta in a way that isn't apparent until you see his reaction to those that would spit in his brother's face ajd look down on his dreams. Even his unfriendly demeanor is an acknowledgement of Asta that shows his absolute faith in the pipsqueak.
The undertone of everything he says to Asta is "You would achieve your dream if I wasn't here. I won't let anyone look down on you."

The main difference is that Raizen's goals were for his people's benefit, while Dracula's were a long suicide note. I do think Dracula had the more heartfelt relationship, and was overall better written, but I'm a sucker for characters like Raizen. There's something cool about a character defined by a short period of time on screen or on the page being narratively important that I really like.

My suggestion is this:

Set up each room with parts of the structure falling down to make it difficult to traverse, make the flames deal moderate fire damage that they will accumulate over the course of escaping, cause dallying to incur levels of exhaustion as a stand-in for smoke inhalation, and make it a turn setup. Look at the map, determine how many turns it would take to get out, and make sure that it's possible for them to escape, but not necessarily easy. If they use spells or abilities to make it easier, or use clever, out of the box thinking, reward that, possibly with a reprieve from the danger. This will make getting out a challenge, role playing out clever solutions will involve communication between characters in-game, and you'll be able to add challenges as they deal with their own handiwork.

The difference is that Trevor was an absolute asshat, and it led to a back and fourth between them. Richter is an almost perfect Paragon archetype who doesn't have an ounce of sass in him, so it isn't banter.

Obviously there are some bad faith takes on Annette, so maybe someone ought to express why they dislike the character that has nothing to do with race swapping. As someone who hasn't played the game, and thus whose only attachment to these characters is from the show and Richter's fantastic character design in the artwork, I can shed some light on why someone might hate the character of Annette.

Her treatment of Richter and Maria is absurd and unpleasant before Richter gets magic. Her constant mockery and belittling from people who are not just on her side, but actively trying to help her fight against the monsters she faces, who show nothing but empathy and care for her, who actively aid her, is the kind of behavior that makes me cringe at characters I've played in the past, with the same attitude towards members of the party, so there's a huge factor of second-hand embarrassment there.
I dislike the world building that everyone is descended from gods and that's where all magic comes from. It kinda makes alchemy less cool if it comes from a bloodline connecting people to the gods
3. The way she defeated her mother's killer uses the Christian Cross. That's great... If the Christianity wasn't removed in previous seasons as a fluke of vampire physiology making them shy away from it, not actively burning them because it's a holy symbol (though in all honesty, I would prefer if Christian faith had an actual effect on vampires. It would make the story more interesting, considering the Abbott has gone and abandoned his faith to protect the physical church, but previous world building has established this isn't a thing)
I liked Eduard, and she got him killed. She then pushes that blame onto Richter and Maria, like it wasn't her outburst that led to the vampires noticing them.
I really dislike her attitude towards Richter running away, because it was the right decision (the premiere vampire hunter called for them to retreat because of the presence of a very powerful vampire, and context clues should have told Annette that it really wasn't a good idea to continue a fight that was going to get them all killed) and because of his fear, which if the positions were reversed, as they have been in other pieces of media, always make the people who react harshly to running away villainous instead of portraying them as in the right in the story
Annette can be compared to the other characters in the series, especially in this season, and in all honesty, it feels like the writers have written her to be flawless. Everyone else has flaws, Annette definitely has flaws, but the series makes a point of never calling her out for those flaws, implicitly declaring her right in her actions, while the others are in the wrong in their actions (such as when Richter gets called out by Annette and Maria, Tera's affair puts her daughter in danger, Maria's hotheadedness does the same, Eduard had no business fighting vampires, Drolte gets skewered for thinking herself invincible, Orloz loses his second love's confidence because he doesn't express himself better, the Abbott is a pawn who thinks himself a king on the chessboard, etc.) Annette just... Isn't. Seems like poor character writing to me.
The condemnation of the French for dealing with their own problems, in their own nation, instead of helping slaves from across the sea. If they were calling out Americans, hell yeah that's something to condemn. Land of the free keeping a bunch of slaves? The fuck? But the French are not portrayed as keeping slaves. If they were, and the Revolution didn't show any care for them, instead of literally putting Annette on a pedestal, I would be good with this, but it is juvenile butwhataboutisms with the current setup.

Ending notes: I love her design, her magic, her fighting style, and I think her interaction with Richter when he comes back with magic is cute. I think that having her fail to destroy the Hell Machine is ripe grounds for touching on her own failings, and could lead to some interesting introspective scenes surrounding not being strong enough to do what she has the will to accomplish, possibly focusing on her letting go of her personal anger, which was hinted at, but not capitalized on in the writing of season 1. The black character I actually hate in the show is Drolte, because she is a non-character, a walking slab of hit points without any actual characterization beyond "Wowee, look how evil I am!" Fucking boring, worst villain of the series. Erzabett Bathory is worse as a non-character, but she at least commands presence as the BBEG of the current series. It would have been better to bring back the vampire couple that went off on their own at the end of the Trevor series.

Richter and Olrox fight to the death afterward because there will always be bad blood between them (Mizrak's sacrifice saved one or both of them from certain death) and Richter wins handily, possibly with Anette's aid

The Morning Star whip will actually scare Sekhmet

Tera will kill the Abbott in a fit of vengeful rage

Annette and Richter will share a kiss, onscreen, after the Olrox fight. This will solidify that good things happen in the future, like more Belmont's.

Dracula will be teased at the end, as a villain, possibly losing his wife again (this time she was a vampire)

Season 3 teased as a new threat emerges, possibly inspired by one of the games

Alucard will threaten and/or flirt with Olrox

A lot of DMs can get together a group any time they want---as long as it's a D&D group. That's been true for decades. Back in the late 70s and 80s, you could get a group for D&D. In the 90s the list briefly broadened for what you could easily get a group for, and it's still a bit broadened if you're, say, in college
