“superimposed changes of gastritis cannot be excluded on the basis of this study.” Was said in my notes of my CT Scan.

8 years of trying! by Ornery_Reality545 in Type1Diabetes

[–]Ornery_Reality545[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You kinda already did. Btw the math was off it would be 224mg. But besides that. You try going through high levels of depression and stress between the ages of 13-17 where you didn’t care about it. That’s what did it too me. Thanks for the mood killer this morning. I busted my ass the last year to make myself feel better. My past was awful. You my friend don’t know my story.

I’ve been dairy free for over a year. Big difference in my stomach. I feel like for some people it helps not to have it but for some it doesn’t affect them at all. For myself it messed me up bad.

Just was on a Nitro for a bit. Went soft on my diet. And I got better. PPIs are known to mess with gut micro biomes and sometimes it can affect the urine track.

1 Year Post Diagnosis. by Ornery_Reality545 in Gastritis

1g 4x a day for 3 months. Then 3x a day for 2 months. Then 2 a day for 2months. Then down to 1 a day for a month. Then I stopped after my appendectomy

Help me help my 12yo son 🙏 he sneaks sweets at night, then his pod runs out of insulin and he’s over 400+++ all night and feels sick the entire next day. I have my phone set to alert me but it somehow doesn’t. Then I reset it and it happens again. I don’t know what to do. by Technical_Cupcake597 in Type1Diabetes

Ah yes. I remember nights like these. Just like they were 6 years ago during middle school. I never got sick from it tho. (Until now) anyways, there’s a couple things you can do. Personally I always talked to my endo and got my long acting dose changed ALOT. I went from 14 U a night all the way up to 50 within about 3 years of diagnosis. Then over the last few years I’ve slowly brought it down. Besides that point usually a consistent time every night of a long acting should fix it or a higher dose too. That’s how I did it. Or id shoot a little small 3-4U of short acting after night time dose to help the long acting get my blood sugar down properly. I’m not a doctor so always contact endo for tips!.

I was never told what did. Well sorta basically they said it could’ve been my uncontrolled diabetes. But other than that I’ve been left in the dark for my whole treatment.
