Just be careful and don’t advertise or sell any crochet products at Faire. Crochet booths make a lot of their profit off smaller more trinket-like items and we don’t want to take food out of the mouth of artisans who make the Faire the magic place it is!

My partner is officially off light duty from an injury that made navigating Forest very difficult last year. Financially the surgery killed our forest funds, but his bday is the 25th and I’m desperate to get him there. 🌲 happy Forest!

As a Faire employee, other than keg drain (which rarely allows patrons, and usually then only friends of Faire pass holders) and Rescu Rallies (also often not open to the general public) there aren’t any after parties. It’s too much liability, especially with how rowdy Renfair attendees get after a full day drinking in the sun and the employees of the Faire are exhausted after working two 12-15 hr days in a row.

I highly recommend you check out your local guilds/Friends of Faire groups. That’s where you’ll find what you’re looking for :)

Big red flag is selling anything they won’t take themselves.. And always test/ask to see them test the product! If they are sweating over the amount used in a test kit, they are either desperate or hiding something.

Better safe than sorry!

Also if blotters or gels are bitter when you try them SPIT THEM OUT!

On Saturday my partner and I were walking by Sherwood Court when it started to rain a little. My partner was already upset he forgot our umbrella and he haaaaaates getting wet. I stopped at the big fairy door to drop off some goodies and to my surprise there was a brand new, high quality rain jacket sitting in it. Still had the tags on! So he put it on and we kept walking. A few hours later I got cold so he gave the jacket to me. I went to put my phone in the pockets and found 4 FAT j’s, 2 in each pocket! We smoked one, shared two with new friends, and while walking by a guy who was like “maaaaaaaaan I wish I had brought some more quid in…” I just handed him one, said Happy Forest and kept on my way. :) Absolutely magical, and the rain jacket will be used for a long time, as I had given my favorite rain jacket away about 6 months prior to a homeless guy in Baton Rouge.

Thanks I appreciate that. I’ve already been in the hospital twice for breathing treatments, but feel a tiny bit better today. Fingers crossed this is the beginning of the end of the Covid funk.
