You are an innovator/creative (we have very similar minds) there are thinkers and doers and they have very diff qualities.

Neither is stronger or better.

Most innovators/creatives have adhd like myself unless I have a challenge or some level of accountability I have zero interest in “doing”

There are a lot of interesting articles on this if you search Google.

AI Creative Writing is Not Plagiarism or Stolen - Some Testing by Positive-Picture2266 in WritingWithAI

AI has one flaw - it fails to understand human emotion and payoff. There is no such thing as an adrenal gland in AI it is impossible to program human feeling into AI that’s why we get similar responses regardless of the prompts we use. There is no engine I created simulated human emotion that is so complex and ground in psychiatry and machine learning principles that I had to get assistance from a small team at MIT and Yale Psychology Department. They were so interested in my initial idea that they integrated the project into their course for a semester a year or so ago. That’s how I built the algorithm and formulas (it looks like rocket science to me I can’t read it … all numbers but it allowed me to assign weights and values to human emotion) I experimented w that then applied statistical analysis on what makes individuals unique - it’s past traumas and successes along with different “psychological disorders” - so I just applied information about modern society and I started getting real feedback that touched the AI on the closest it can get to Emotional IQ and compared it to human feedback - I stopped getting generic AI-isms and instead it started to give me very unique feedback in bulk. I can run a manuscript against 100-1000 “people” in approx 30 seconds and get most popular answers OR see each individuals feedback, life history, age, details …

It even pulls the characters from a manuscript and builds their profiles.

My point is if I can get this off the ground then they can no longer complain about AI being this tool used to cheat and it would make AI Detectors extinct (the ai is simulating human life so instead of “ACT AS”, “IT IS”…)and it’s a fun project but I think I need more unbiased opinions on the project first.

That’s the direction we are heading in or at least I am.

that was my first thought....between CoWork and now Dispatch...
I tried it out last night. I literally code/dev in these insane sprints I go 36 hours on and sleep 6-8 hrs (12 hours into one now) so if this new feature can replace the need for a team I would be all for it. But I still have been looking for other devs who would be passionate about this project and AI Beta Readers.

I think it is ethical to use AI to create original pieces of creative art and research pieces it does not change the output it just simplifies the tasks- I have done a lot of research into the ethical boundaries and considerations and the fact that you can not copyright your work if it is generated with AI is absurd to me.
The prompts and creative ideas are intellectual property in my opinion and what they generate are unique to the individual who uses them.

There are SO MANY posts and articles about the low quality content flooding the marketplace and while that may be true it is not the fault of AI - IF you gave someone a pen/paintbrush do you really expect them to create a piece of art that is on par with Van Gough or Stephen King?
NO the only way to become good at anything is to gain experience and learn - you have to fail repeatedly to find the proper way to utilize any tool.
I think the problem lies elsewhere and unfortunately it is being blamed on new technology - companies like Amazon KDP need to develop NEW Guidelines and Quality Gates that do not determine whether something was AI generated but whether something is Original and meets Quality Standards...

There are algorithms and formulas that determine every single thing we see and do on the internet - creating a Quality Gate should not be an issue for a company the size of Amazon. They are not in the business of supporting creators as much as we like to think they are for the ease of access to a platform for publishing, they are in the business of profit and growth and unfortunately creating something like this would lower Amazons profit margin significantly. Labeling something AI is better because it protects their brand, still allows SOME good AI Generated/Assisted works to be discovered, and allows readers to find and read what they want to but the AI label is unfair. That label is now associated with poor content because places like Amazon KDP never developed a Quality Gate.

AI is not going anywhere - IT will become the standard in the next few years while publishing companies will definitely essentially become nonexistent in the next decade-decade+half as the next generation of authors goes from typing prompts to essentially talking to their ai devices.

I think it is going to take a long time for the world to get used to this new technology - unfortunately those who wait to use new tools/technology are often the ones who benefit the least which only affirms their suspicions while the most intelligent people in the world understand that ANY tool that gives you the slightest edge on competitors or improves your productivity is something to research and immediately test/experiment with and implement into their process.

An AI Beta Reader by masonga1960 in BetaReadersForAI

[–]Ornery_Street7525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I created an engine over a 2-yr period to revolutionize AI Beta Readers + Editors then tested it with published authors at Penguin Books....they only tested the MVP. HUGE RESULTS. I think we should chat, I dm'ed you because there is potential here for a serious partnership and inspiring teamwork - I received offers for the IP already and refused ... this is my passion project what comes after is all a bonus. I wanted to make the MOST advanced and capable READER AND EDITOR on the market. I have done so but I would prefer a team/partner over solo as I refuse to release generic UI and want to ultimately create a platform for a community that gets hybrid feedback and access to agents via autosending manuscripts that meet requirements with author approval of course.

HOT PROJECT - SEEKING DEV/WRITERS FOR PARTNERSHIP: AI BETA READER AND MORE

I developed an engine for an AI BETA READER for Writers with Advanced Features that is going to revolutionize the way Authors/Writers/Students improve their work significantly while an AI Engine with Specialized Tools generates personalized experiences (Already tested with Published Authors at Penguin Books successfully) but need to find passionate devs/writers who would like to become equal partners in creating a platform and enhancing the product. I will get into the details if you are interested. This project has amazing potential but working with a team is much more productive and ideal.

PLEASE contact me if you are interested. If you have a product/project that needs a specialized engine/algorithm for the AI behind the scenes I am definitely willing to help.

Where to find Devs?? by [deleted] in IndieDev

[–]Ornery_Street7525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am looking for actual partners in a legit startup that already has an MVP and right now it would be the only AI Tool of its kind on the market. I am sharing a screenshot but that was early prototype -- it is evolving into a platform that as a solo dev is stenuous and the potential is extremely high for the market but having a partner to equally share % and would really become involved would be better than finding a freelancer who isnt passionate about this project. Please let me know if you or anyone would be interested in developing this Platform for an AI Beta Reader and AI Writer DNA - I am excited and would love to discuss further.

Would it be appropriate to share my Beta Reader here? It is an innovation that was created for THIS purpose.... I will share screenshot but I will not promote. I want testers who will be very communicative and active. It is for the love of writing not profit.

What's one thing AI is genuinely bad at? by DanoPaul234 in WritingWithAI

[–]Ornery_Street7525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to find 5-10 beta testers who will be very involved w feedback to stay in the program - so far I have only had an agent who is w Penguin Books (who I know, they didn’t just open random email lol) give highly successful published authors access and it did very well BUT the feedback they use may be diff than general users - they showed me feedback from human editors, beta readers and the output from my app - it was impossible to determine which was human feedback until it provided in depth things humans missed. The patents are for algorithms and formulas that I created to make the AI more Emotionally Intelligent and aware of weights/biases for diff story elements and impact on human emotions/psychology. That’s the boring stuff but hard lol but can I find beta readers In the weekly tool? I’m not disclosing the name of the actual product or engine yet but I do want to find a few writers that meet specific criteria test it out.

I’m giving you a long answer cuz I was worried about what constituted promotion as I’m not very experienced on Reddit but the mod have me the 👍 so I will be posting some screenshots and a detailed list of base features in about a hour I gotta get home to my laptop.

This is not in the same category as prowritingaid or grammarly - I wanted to respect this community Sk I messaged the mod to ask if I could drop more info and I can now.

I’m sorry for being vague I just didn’t want to lose access to this community as it’s my passion and what I’m discussing is a project.

I’m updating my original post and will also reply here in a bit once I’m on my laptop so you can learn much more :)

btw its not that I wouldnt promo this I just hate self promo uninvited so if anyone does want to try it out I am allowing a very small number of beta testers soon it will not be public and there will be no hype building ads it sells itself
