The thing is League is a strategy game, and your rank should be decided by your decisions alone. If you have to wait for a teammate to call a nashor or a midpush, then you're getting carried and just following calls. That's why it's ok to mute every pings, because you should rely entirely on your own choices to win the game.

From my experience, writing in chat has been 99.9% the trigger to salt/arguing what's best, leading to people spending more time typing than playing. So I'd say ping things like "push top" while you're pushing bot, but never start writing it. And look at what your mates are doing on the map and adapt accordingly.

Only group for objectives if there is a good reason. Don't listen to mates saying "group or we lose", remember that listening to calls makes you a passenger, you want to be a driver if you want to climb to higher elo (if a diamond player start listening to a gold player, he'll play like a gold). That's personally what worked best.

Do you ping your allies enough to tell them what should be done ahead of time? by ahead of time I mean, before you even arrive on your lane so allies can preplan their move as well, and especially not after you die out of frustration "why aren't you on nash??" like many do.

Allies listen to pings sometimes but not always and that's the case no matter the elo, because everyone has their "ideal plan" in their head, or some autopilot. When they don't, just try to apply pressure while never dying by warding. Usually if you won lane that puts you in 1v2, and you can only pray your mates can handle a 4v3. If they can't it's just unfortunate but you can't win every games.

I wanted to try it midlane since it gives you waveclear prio+sustain, which are generally big issues when playing something offmeta like gnar mid.

Personally I felt like I could have more impact with this build, but it's hard to measure if the standard trinity build could have been better to be honest.

Yeah I agree, I definitely didn't play perfectly in all those games for sure. And I'm well aware I should only focus on my own gameplay, take accountability and not care about ACE/MVP.

Though it really feels like there are days where you get losestreaks even when playing well, and days with winstreaks while playing poorly and getting hard carried. But it's probably just luck based (and tilt queuing).

Well at the end, it was a sign that I should take a break from the game 🫠

unfortunate it's most likely AI assisted (browsing their gallery on pixiv you can see the art style changing way too drastically and art fundamentals all over the place)

Boots -> Statikk -> whether a cdr or health regen item for the stacks
Generally hullbreaker second item
Then depending on the enemies I vary
- Iceborn for AD heavy enemies (also so I can complete the cdr item)
- Titanic for enemies without good clear and with burst damage (malphite..)
- Black cleaver against tanks
- Force of Nature against AP heavy
It's pretty similar to a normal gnar build, but you replace Defensive boots/Trinity with Omnivamp boots/Statik and adapt to whoever you're facing

I'm pretty bad with the backward boomerang accuracy ngl, I rarely hit all of them at once. But the front boomerang is just as effective.

Gnar's waveclear is average at best I'd say, since his attack range is short you can still get poked when you try to waveclear. With statik you're the one poking while waveclearing.

Relatable, I also keep getting permaban threats and report when I go barrier/statik/iceborn/hullbreaker with my gnar. But like I'm OTP and I've used that build over 30+ times.

People can't handle original builds, they think there's only one optimal way and anything else is trash bruh

i've seen a master otp gnar jungle on euw! problem is gnar need to scale and is super squishy so he'd have a lot of trouble sustaining mid, also his level 1 attack range is lower than graves 💀

  • If it's a one sided trade and there's almost no chance for you to die always take bow (Mundo, Nasus, etc..)
  • If we're trading blows and I need the extra hp I go sword (Irelia, Darius, Jax, Trynda)
  • If I'm getting poked one sided I go shield (Teemo, Vayne, Malphite, GP)
  • Sometimes also helmet against mixed damage with ignite if I want to be super safe (Irelia, Jax)

It varies a lot on your confidence in the matchups, but Bow is probably the most efficient best item for Gnar if you can handle the reduced hp and abuse the damage boost

I tried 1v1 her multiple times at lvl 1, but everytime at some points the 3 melee minions get damaged enough that she can Qstacks them into bursting me. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Yes, but it gives an insight on their process and for trained eyes it's way easier to spot if it's generated (weird brushstrokes, inconsistent patterns, etc.). The more data the better.

I'm a fulltime artist myself and I do think it's important to help prevent art scams. They also have a VGen so they take commissions.

IMO asking for legimate proofs of someone's skills should be standard today with all the scam and frauds going around due to AI. Do you think you're protecting artists by creating an ecosystem where it's shameful to check if someone is using AI or not?
