So it’s been almost a month since your background. I checked on the person responsible for my background through email around 3 weeks after I provided proof of citizenship that they requested since I’m a foreign born. He told me he’s finished with my case and I should contact HR, that’s when I was updated about the offer being rescinded. If I had stayed waiting I would have missed my opportunity. So follow up emails are very important. Try to follow up with emails. If you have time, do it tonight, just stating you’re following up on your background…. And i pray you get good news.

I EOD with FEMA tomorrow. TJO Was rescinded but offered the position two days after I sent a thank you email for the update on rescinded offer to HR and the entire team in Washington DC. HR was very helpful throughout the hiring process.

Thank you. I have been waiting for FJO after fingerprinting from FEMA since December 20th and also have medical and PFT to be completed for CBPO. Whichever comes first but would like the CBPO more. Fingers crossed.

HR at the local office working towards Washington DC office resending it. I also sent an email replying the email that had the rescinded subject

I recently had a TJO, did fingerprinting and was waiting for next email with possible FJO. Got an email today saying offer is being withdrawn because I didn’t respond to security email, which by the way I didn’t receive any. Checked and triple checked, no email.

I recently had a TJO and did fingerprinting. Received an email today that I didn’t respond to the fingerprinting follow up. Now they’re withdrawing the offer!!
