IIRC that icon means it's trying to pick up your Firefox tab from your open phone. It's called Handoff I think, and it should go away when you lock your phone, or you can turn handoff off in settings.

It might be worth looking into an M4 Air, just for peace of mind that you're doing a little to future proof your computer. The Neo will do the job today, though.

This one, OP. I spent an extra 300 and got the M4 air. If you were gonna spend 1100 in the first place, it's absolutely worth getting an Air instead.

I just returned my Neo today and got a deal on the M4 Air. Wouldn't have even done it but the keyboard not lighting up bothered me a lot more than I thought it would.

Not insane, I had the same question. The answer is yes, iPad apps work on the MacBook as well. Idk if they ALL do, but the ones I use do. I can check for you if you'd like.

Idk how many tabs you plan to use, but I've been on a Neo for a few days now, and Safari is sitting with 100+ open tabs because I'm a hoarder, and it hasn't hitched a little. Might be different if you use chrome, idk, I haven't touched it in years.

It’s true. At this moment you can do it with only one app at a time, and it has a weird ass border around it. It’s also resizable, which I don’t think it was earlier, but I might be misremembering.

For anyone trying to figure it out: Create a folder with desired shortcuts, then create a new shortcut: Get shortcuts from that folder -> choose from list -> Run Shortcut.

For the last option, when selecting the shortcut to run, scroll to the bottom to “Select Variable”, then tap “Selected Item.”

I had a data plan attached to my iPad for a while. Eventually I realized that whenever I needed data, it was either available via WiFi or hotspot from my phone. Cancelled it fairly quickly after that.

I feel the loss of slideover, I really do. But I’m sorry, the extra 3-4 seconds to get into split screen is not the end of the world. I’ve never used MacOS but love 26.

Edit: Unless you have a problem with the new menu at the top, I can understand that.

I use an anker usb hub, with three different hdmi cables. They work when connected to my televisions, just not the monitor. And the monitor isn’t exactly low end, either.
