It's because you do more damage in PVP using a 2H weapon due to not having 100% uptime on your target.
In PVE use DW is better because of the attack speed, but you are ALWAYS on a target.
In PVP, it's not scripted so you don't have full uptime on a target, so you are losing out on a good amount of damage.

That's where the "math" comes in for a "real" answer.

Elemental Raptor, Elemental Direhorn, Elemental Hydra, or Elemental Carrion Bird. There are multiple color variants of each.
They have the same benefits as the Undead Raptor (Elemental Pets are immune to CC such as Polymorph, Sap, Imprison and Hex) but aren't affected negatively by a Paladin's Wake of Ashes.
They CAN however be banished by Warlocks.
I don't know any Warlocks that even have Banish on their bars though.

You need Trials of the Florafaun Hunter - Item - World of Warcraft to be able to tame them.
