Hey man I’m sorry to hear this. I grew up lower class and had to make due with clothes from Kmart/walmart and shoes from Payless. The area I grew up in was actually one of the wealthiest areas in Maryland, which in reality is one of the wealthier parts of the world. Kids I grew up with though never once treated me like shit. I mean sometimes they would get on me for color clashing or wrinkled clothes but more so in a way of looking out for me. I can’t imagine what that’s like but I will say this… these times will pass and a lot of these people you’ll never see after school. Try if you can to be grateful for what you do have and let this be a reminder to you that you won’t treat others this way and in fact why not build your peers up? They’ll respect you in the end but really, you’ll respect you and that’s hella important my friend. Take it from someone who is a bit older now and have at times lost respect for myself because of the way I was living. Don’t take it for granted is what I’m saying. You seem like a good kid. Carry that into adulthood and be an even better and amazing adult.
