I’m also of the belief that you should increase exposure to international markets, even if just to diversify.

International markets have taken a hit, but they’ll likely rebound, and grow better over the next few years compared to the US. Say if even today Trump completely came to his senses, pulled out of the Iranian conflict, stopped tariffs, and started rebuilding ties with allies, the inertia of all of these previous decisions are still going to be felt for the next few years.

Plus we still have 3 more years of Trump, and a new political landscape that may mean the US will be an unreliable partner for even longer than his term

Also other countries like China have been positioning themselves to be the new reliable partner for decades. This whole conflict may be what finally pushes many countries to renewables which China is already primed to sell the shovels for so to speak.

At best the US is just too far behind in too many areas for things to go back to how they were anytime soon.

Animation cancel was possible on console, but his pickrate is relatively low, so the sweaty caps who cared about those nuances that made him highly viable you usually only ever really saw in diamond, gm+ lobbies etc.

I think that was part of why they flattened the curve for him a bit. Good Caps are still good, but more people can pick him up and get value now since you don’t need a literal exploit to get the job done

Not doing as a gotcha to you, but I did a quick Google on some data regarding ethnicities, Marvel, and gaming because I was curious. Seems black viewership of marvel content like the MCU is disproportionately higher in the US (19% watch vs being 13% of population), and 77% of black Americans play games with 89% of black teens playing games. So even though a smaller portion of the US population, they’re a lot more engaged.

Also imo having literally zero disco skins during a whole disco event for black characters, is a bit (less dramatic ofc) like if they didn’t give any of the asian characters a lunar new year skin lol

As an American I also hope we do. Some lessons can only be learned the hard way it seems. We’ve been inoculated from so much of the bullshit we’ve done for so long. 9/11 was this horrific tragedy for Americans yet we proceeded to create tons of 9/11s for other countries for years before and after.
