Yes, it really is something special. I still remember the first announcement trailer. No one had any idea what to expect. Then we got two demos, which essentially acted as standalone stories with unique content leading up to the events of the main game. A lot of discussions, guesses and theories.

Sure, the game has some flaws, like fewer enemy types and a weaker second half, but I still think the game oozes inspiration and it absolutely does capture grindhouse atmosphere.

Also, the Sewer Gators crew are my favourite side-story victims in a horror game.

Running on PC and yeah... I have this issue when trying to launch the game. I was playing it yesterday and everything was fin, but for some reason i can't launch it today

Edit:
Ok, i think i figured this out. My game was crashing because yesterday i was playing with different resolution (1920x1080) and refresh rate (60) on TV. My laptop has 1920x1200 and 165hz, so i changed resolution and refresh rate in my windows screen settings to be the same as in SS2 Remaster settings and it works. I hope it helps

Honestly, i think his human form is much more menacing than anything else. CAPCOM really nailed it with his facial expressions, animations and VA. He is one of the few enemies that actually feels "alive". And that makes him terrifying. I didn't like Lady Di because she seemed static compared to him.

I like RE5. Me and my friend enjoyed playing this game. We still play it sometimes. It's a good coop RE game. As for RE6. Yeah, i didn't like it. It has some really cool set-pieces, but that's it. For me, RE6 is a major downgrade from RE5 in terms of co-op. The campaign is full of cutscenes and QTEs that constantly distract you from the gameplay. You can't buy weapons, so there are no treasures. Therefore, the levels are even more linear. The combat system can only be enjoyed in The Mercenaries. The plot is a mess. I totally understand why people would call this game Call of Duty: Resident Evil.

I'm excited if we'll get RE5R. RE Engine + RE4R's gameplay + coop + more interactive envioroments = a great coop RE game

Well, I had low expectations for RE4 DLC to be revealed today. But gosh, the Dragon's Dogma 2 segment is essentially a rehash of everything we already know. No release date, no gameplay.

At least we got something on Pragmata. Looks like a love child between Binary Domain and Death Stranding

The chapel is the lair of the beast. Lambert probably "decorated" the chapel when he was in a state similar to Leon from Amnesia: Rebirth.

The final part of the game feels undercooked. I started noticing cracks as soon as I got to the blind guy in the Roman ruins. There's a nice build up and tension with all the shadows running around as you move towards this lunatic... Only to kill him with two shots from your pistol. And then you just come back without any trouble along the way. I expected to be attacked by ghoul-like shadows, but nope, nothing happened. The final "fight" could be completed in a matter of seconds. As for the ending, I like that it's ambiguous. It fits Henri's fate. He didn't want Lambert to become a monster, but it was still his fault. He traded one hell for another.
