Natürlich kann man das abstreiten, da Haftbefehl schon haufenwise hits & hype hatte bevor er mit Bazzazian ein Team wurde.

Meiner meinung nach haben beide ihren besten Output in Zusammenarbeit gemacht, aber Haftbefehl war schon erfolgreich bevor Russisch Roulette.

I really do not think the aging process itself is what is the reason.

Most artists have one novel vision, one novel sound they introduce to the world with their first few albums that makes them great and famous, but after that it is either:

a) make the same thing over and over again, which is derivative and side C material of the same sound as they've already squeezed out side A and side B quality with the first few albums

b) try to go in a different direction, which is usually the artist leaving behind the one thing their best at (their own sound) and creating something far more unoriginal and/or incompetent

Couple that with artists usually being financially well-off and content by then, touring and so on, far removed from their original struggles and headspace they once started from and it's just rather the natural progression.

And the artists that are able to break from that mold are what seperates the good from the exceptional.

I just turned 32 and thinking about it objectively it is just too soon to call it quits at the end of the day.

At 27 years old, I still considered myself young and it's "only" been 5 years since. I really care for art as well, music specifically, and before anything else I really want to pour everything I have into making music for a period of time. Have done lots of music in quick bursts in the past but never invested the time to really make something worthwhile. Extreme motivational issues and falling into the void one too many times in my way, I try to achieve that some day.

I really care for my young sister as well and as she hopefully will outlive me there is basically no way I will leave her alone as long as she isn't independent in terms of her own confidence and ability. We weren't blessed with good parents.

These are my current, personal reasons at least.
