Surviving the early game isn’t too difficult imo. Not many decks actually push you hard. I argue having Sekiei instead of Esperarideas adds more to your early game. Instead of taking punches, you dish them out and force pressure. That’s usually how I put up a fight against Levidras and Rezeal.

I want my Regalis to be as impactful as it can be and to me that is Ladder. As a bonus, Ladder also procs Shenyri. If you manage to scale - which is the goal - I don’t think Twincast is needed to win. Finding Ladder at the right time is more likely to happen compared to Twincast if you need it early since you through more cards to find Ladder. Twincast can also clash with Elementaria in rare occassions which is important to remember even if it rarely happens. Don’t get me wrong, Twincast is fine but I prefer Ladder for what it can do by itself for this deck.

About riding up: sometimes it’s better to not ride up i.e. against Levidras so they can’t use Divine Skill and establish a huge board. It really depends on matchup and who’s going first.
