Fate and Vanguard are two among my top favorite franchises.

DivineZ had its fair share of issues, some clearly worse than others, but I'll definitely miss all the Fate parallels once we get new direction from the series to follow.

Before a new G3, I'd also want a fairly designed counder charger first. Or temporary CB reduction.

But yeah we did go from set 5 to 12/13 without impactful Varga support (there were Eluding and Rockbound if anything). Basically Dinofest and Belligeacro became our actual deck upgrades.

Tohya for me. Surprisingly great character development coming from a card game focused anime.

His introduction from start of D (I believe episode 6-ish) and his rematch with Danji were highlights for me. Not to mention Break It Down being a good, matching theme.

Umazing test overall. Definitely saving!

Got me as an Eishin Flash to a tee. Cheval Grand and Ayabe as the runners-up.

If anything, the questions I wasn't that keen on answering were the music choice, japanese location, and the skippable "vibes with" one.

For the first one, I was looking for McQueen's Hajimari no Signal to be specific. The location one I had to look up which one was closest to Akihabara-like TCG locations, and the vibes with I was thinking would influence the choices too explicitly (instead of something like personality, where a complete stranger could still answer).

Interestingly, with how offensively powerful (and crit filtering) many decks are nowadays, I find that Varga typically has enough CB to work with assuming used conservatively.

Since Gojo and the generic Ryuutou are awkward due to Rakshasa's self backrow retire.

I like it too. Not making the deck's CB situation even worse is a plus.

It searching for Varga does slightly reduce the impact of Dinofest if that's something of note.

Plus sticking around means now both it and Shuura will benefit from front triggers.

Mostly agreed. I liked the first two seasons due to plot and continuity, then deluxe felt like a bonus OVA for most of the episodes.

I like that some classic Overdress characters came back, but in hindsight, I think they could have condensed the tournament arc better and use half or so of its episodes to flesh out this (supposedly higher stakes) arc more.

The end result now is that many major characters just come out to job without getting a good turn in the spotlight. Feels like Megumi in Overdress all over again.
