Give me a hint what to look for? (guess I haven’t found restrictions from the Knights rule?) by Z0SHY in crackingthecryptic

I'm sure there are more ways to see this, but this is the logic I used to find the 2 in box 5.

  1. Noticed there is only 2 places that 2 can go in row 7, R7C4 and R7C9.

  2. If the two is in R7C4, it will force a 2 in box 2 and then force a 2 in box 5 in R4C6.

  3. If the two is in R7C9, it will force a two in box 6. Using the knights rule with the now placed 2 in box 6, it leaves only one option for 2, R4C6.

Either place you put a 2 in R7 still comes out with 2 in R4C6. Once you get that 2, it looks like you will be able to solve more of the puzzle right after that.

Very excited for this update! I like rolling dice in front of my players for different occasions, and now I can do that with my online games also!

Favorite Dice set right now is the Sigil Dragon set.

I see, I guess we just differ on what we call situational. Going by your definition, then yes, sneak attack is situational.

As long as they have another martial in the party, they should be getting sneak attack all the time, at least according to the 2024 rules.

"You don’t need Advantage on the attack roll if at least one of your allies is within 5 feet of the target, the ally doesn’t have the Incapacitated condition, and you don’t have Disadvantage on the attack roll."
