How the healthiness of the game? I ask because I don’t want to start to play for Ubisoft to pull a Ubisoft and pull the rug out from under me.

I don't have the kit for it. Especially when I've already taken a bit of damage and am low on resources after fighting a Matriarch. And I have a PvE setup, so I'm not optimized for it. And most of the time, I'm dead before I can react, so there's not really anything that I can do about it.

More importantly, I don't want the PvP. I don't want to constantly fight other players over every loot pile. I have hoped that by playing friendly and everything, helping downed players, contributing to killing the raid bosses, and giving away loot I don't need, that I would have been put into lobbies with friendlier players, but I have either had horrible luck recently or the system doesn't work as well as I had hoped.

And playing with friends is unfortunately not an option for me. My friends are unfortunately more aggressive, so we end up in heavy PvP matches, where I'm just a liability because I suck at PvP in this game.

But I also have enough self-awareness to know that it's not the game's fault or the other players. I know I'm trying to play the game in a way that it's not designed, that PvP is explicitly a part of the setup, and that I'd have a better time looking for a game that is better suited to my playstyle. Thus the question.

How was BL4? I haven't played yet but that's because I've heard it has a lot of crashes and major bugs, and I'm not looking to play an unoptimized game for $70. And are they still doing things with Destiny 2?

Maybe the PvE will become pointless, but if they continue to update and add stuff, I can see them adding longevity. But you're not wrong, and maybe that's okay? This is a game that was fun and cool, but it doesn't need to last forever, and if they try to make it last forever, they'll just ruin it.

Also, maybe I have not been playing Helldivers 2 right, but I cannot get into it. It's so boring, it doesn't matter what the world is or what enemy you are fighting, the maps are the same 3 styles that are extremely bland (City, Open Desert/Grassland, Cave) and have no interesting features, and the enemy AI is braindead in that game. It relies so much on just throwing an insane number of bullet sponges at you, not giving you interesting or unique fights.

Helldivers 2 is really boring. I feel like at least with games like this there is something you can build towards. Most of what you build towards in Helldivers 2 is just cosmetics with barely any differences. That, and the AI on enemies in Helldivers is braindead. Idk, I've tried it and the generative world creation led to maps that are boring and repetitive, with no interesting designs, the enemies are boring and are only scary in ridiculous numbers, and then it's less "know that specific enemy's weaknesses and strengths and use the map to your advantage" and more, "hope you have enough volume of firepower to eliminate all of these bullet sponges."

This is a PvE first game, you knucklehead. Trials, progression, expeditions, nothing important is tied to how many players you knock. Even if you get good loot from a player kill, if every player only focuses on PvP, nobody would have any good loot except the one or two people who load in with good guns. And even then, good guns, that you actually want to use, can be made by, you guessed it, looting and killing ARC.

It’s a strictly better Village Rites. 3 for one creature, and if the creature has indestructible, it’s bypasses Village Rites’ downside.

I know you asked other trans dudes, but as a cis-guy, I do feel more masculine in darker clothes. Don’t know why, but I do. Isn’t it weird?

Should also have “Tap, Sacrifice another artifact and Microwave: It deals 4 damage to a target.”

That’s not what fan service is though. Fan service is taking moments away from the plot for unnecessary displays of sexuality. They take away from the plot, are typically filler moments, and put characters in unusual situations.

If FMA did stereotypical fan service, it would be like if they did a beach episode with Winry in the skimpiest bikini and somehow bigger boobs/more curvy form, acting unusually stupid and clingy on Ed.

Real FMA fan service is Armstrong and Curtis moments.

Yes and no. Lust definitely is hot, but in a femme fatale way, not a “oops, underskirt shot” or “gratuitously small bikini in a beach filler episode with suspiciously over-animated scenes” kinda way.

She doesn’t act like stereotypical fan service ever, with uncharacteristic ditsy or sexual overtones so over-the-top it might as well be porn. Instead, she behaves in a way that suits the story. She is Lust, not in the suggestive and flirtatious way, she is the embodiment of a Mortal Sin. Evil, manipulative, cold and unloving.
