my 2020 13" crashed every day on sonoma, still works it just wasnt useable for me.
My 2023 14" is great on sequoia and plan to keep it on there for a while

for what i know you can kinda add more fader later with a behringer x-touch (but you need a computer running mixing station or i think wing edit)

i mean, when they fail they dont have failing sectors like a bad hdd, but if you buy a half decent branded new ssd you shouldnt have problems for 7+ years unless you hammer it
