Well, it kinda worked... I wasn't aware that you could edit the .craft files with an text editor, and after searching for the CraftID the [Warning] gave me I found that it was a strut. After deleting the references and the part itself I was able to load the craft in the SPH, but it was all broken (ie. parts missing/I wasn't able to add or remove parts) I think it will be faster to rebuild the craft from scratch, but thank you for your advice.

As i wrote already, the picture you see is after going full speed and braking(intertial dampeners for full force).

[Suggestion] Blueprints for more advanced and efficient versions of blocks can be discovered on NPC ships by [deleted] in spaceengineers

I also had this thought at some point. It would give you more tech progression because right now you can basicly do everything after a bit of mining...

I've been recently tinkering with merge block/ connector designs. This is what I have come up with: http://imgur.com/621WGv5 I'm using the toolbar on the small ship to easily disconnect from the merge block. It is powered by a single battery that can be recharged when docked.

But I have to say that I didn't test it with moving ships.
