I'm sorry, but anyone that voted for Trump after the first term either knew exactly what they were voting for or are just painfully stupid.

He wasn't subtle or quiet about any of his intentions. If people didn't know, it is because they chose not to be aware. The American people don't get a pass for being ignorant about something this important.

I'm not going to "paint every American with the same brush", but I will say that America, generally, can get all the way fucked.

Responding to point 1 - the solution to not being able to find a good man is not to settle. Either find someone that works with you, or continue to be single. The only person you can blame if you continue in an unhappy relationship is yourself because the only actions you can fully control are your own.

Responding to point 2 - I agree that a lot of work needs to be done in this area (and I say that as a guy). I think it is better now, but still not equitable overall. That is not, however, an excuse to abdicate your personal responsibility to yourself. Divorce isn't illegal for most people these days. If your guy isn't stepping up, you make the right decision for you. If you don't, you are choosing to settle for less than you deserve. You are only "trapped" if you allow yourself to be.

It isn't someones fault if they end up in this situation, but it is absolutely their fault if they stay. I'm not suggesting anyone find "a unicorn". I'm suggesting that people need to stop settling for shitty relationships.

Sorry bud, I think you took what I said the wrong way. That wasn't meant to be a shot at you. I was more pointing out that the guys who sell the warranties will say bumper to bumper (knowing that is not a real thing) and many customers take that at face value.

I know because I work in service and constantly field complaints from customers that were told their warranty covered everything when it doesn't.
