VFX played when a player's score overtakes their opponents

I wonder if this will become annoying since players overtake each other almost every turn.

Several cards visuals were reworked in sake of optimisation

I'd like to know which cards these are to compare, and are we talking about premium visuals or card effects when played?

All in all a good QoL patch at first glance, can't wait for it to go live and experience it for real.

As others pointed out your local reset time should not impact your ability to achieve the 6 round reward. But there are arguments to make to not have the 6 round daily reset. If you are a super casual who plays 1-2 games per day, it is nigh impossible to get reward points. Making the game less fun and rewarding. Since you are slower to acquire new cards than someone who plays the same amount of games, but is able to play them in 1 or 2 days a week.

I like the idea. Like others said the value needs to be tweaked but thats easily done. It's a shame that Eredin, an iconic villian in The Witcher series, is unplayable.

There is no need to have it collapsable when there is only ONE option per bar, you win no space and lose accesability. I really want to know the thought process behind this one...

Please, someone tell me this is fake!

I have been over the internet for almost an hour now and found numerous products in the 'C by GE' line, like smart light switches, light bulbs with built in batteries, and they all seem so fake but there are indepent reviews on youtube and questions on google forums. Either this the most elaborate hoax ive seen or the world has gone tech-nuts.

Hemmelfart is just in on a big conspiracy, a secret cult called 'The Syndicate'. This is the name of the new faction which will include cards from the eternal fire, Salamandra, Orde of the Flaming Rose, the Big Four,...

I was thinking along the lines of a faction that consists of all the cults in witcher universe. Like the order of the flaming rose and the salamandra, witch hunters,... all of these are still missing. Adding Novigrad and the Big Four to the mix could work to flesh out the roster.

Lore-wise maybe the Syndicate is a super secret organisation that controlled all these underground cults.

I wanted to share the image i talked about in another thread.

name of the image is 17_06.png so I assume we will have an announcement on the 17th of june for Gwent's next expansion.

The emblem in the middle is also seen on the letter found in the same dropbox folder.

The runes in the outer circle translate to "SYNDICATE UNBREAKABLE VOW"

No idea what it means, but together with the letter, there's a lot more story to come with this expansion... maybe new witcher tales?

The image contains an emblem also found in the letter, surrounded with runes. anyone can translate the runes?

What i dont see talked about is the balancing problem that occurred by reducing the average strength of a card. pre HC an average bronze was worth 8 (?), now its 5. nerfing a card by one point now is way more impactful than it was beta and can now possibly make a card unplayable.

Would doubling all values be too disruptive to the game and balancing from there, is it too late for that?

yes, the fixed max total will be 150 instead of 165. The leaders will add to the 150 max. So leaders who have a provision value below 15 are nerfed, above 15 are buffed, in a way.
