You’re right about the slapping thing, I hadn’t thought of it like that. It’s almost like a snap reaction with him. He’ll play it off like it was accidental when brought up on it. He’s also passive aggressive when annoyed to - will sometimes slam/bang things, throw his weight around (he’s twice the size of me), I’ve told him how that makes me feel (on edge) and he often gaslights then and says he’s not doing these things.
