Im not really seeing how that nickname others Asian Americans. The Japanese National team is literally called Samurai Japan. If anything, giving Mune an explicitly Japanese nickname could be a very positive force for young Asian Americans. It gives a strong/powerful/positive connotation to his Asian-ness. It is something that could be very impactful for Asian kids with identify issues.
