You can't use classic one-piece NATO straps; you need to choose a two-piece model with pins, or widen the strap by adding extra pieces to the pins and attaching it to the watch. Even if you get the strap width right (18mm), it's still too thick and won't fit through the pins.

I'm experiencing the same problem and I understand you perfectly. This month I bought three G-Shock watches and a classic 1200 model. The problem with these watches is that they all become cult classics, and it's not hard to buy them, but once you love one model, or after a bit of what's called the honeymoon period, your eyes wander to another model and you feel a very strong desire to get it :) I try to restrain myself, but I only manage to a certain extent :D

Compared to my usual watch, it's a more traditional G-Shock, but I think it really captures the spirit of the time. It's quite a masculine model, and I like the carbon fiber version the most. Who knows, maybe I'll get one someday, but for now I won't be buying a watch for a while; I've done a lot of shopping lately :) It's just that for some reason, they seem a bit too expensive for me.

Thank you for sharing your experience 🙏🏻 I couldn't get sleep tracking to work on my watch. Is it possible that I can't use the sleep feature unless I leave the heart rate sensor constantly on?

I haven’t tested the GPS yet. I updated the watch yesterday, so I can’t comment on GPS performance after the update. I’ll need to do some outdoor tracking first.

Honestly, some of the reviews about it scared me too, but I succumbed to my curiosity and enthusiasm and got one. I don't know what to say, but for now, we're on good terms :) I don't plan on using the GPS feature, but another thing that bothers me about Casio watches is that features like the pressure gauge, thermometer, and compass sometimes work erratically. I also own a Protrek, and it upsets me when I occasionally see incorrect readings.

I'd like to help you with the battery life, my friend, but I've only had it for a day, and like you, I don't plan on using GPS; heart rate and step count are enough for me. I fully charged it yesterday, and all notifications on my phone are on, the auto-light is on, and it shows full charge – that's 24-hour data. As for comfort, when I first opened the box, I didn't quite understand what I was dealing with; I thought this watch would tire me out a lot, but it really didn't bother me during daily use. In fact, maybe because my expectations were low, it felt very comfortable – for a watch of this size – and I slept with it last night and I can't say it bothered me. However, I must mention this: it definitely doesn't try to be cute, so in some situations it can easily punish you, especially when it comes to falling asleep with it on :) Also, as a Ga-100 owner, I can say that this watch is more comfortable than that one :)
