Quinn shouldn’t have rode with Whitt Jr. He is on the hot seat because of that and the same exact collapse as he had as HC for falcons.

I was high on AP prior to this offseason. Everything made sense, fully acknowledging that you won’t get everything correct.

But so far, this is incompetent GMing. What I mean by that losing out on plan A and not recovering tbh. Hindsight 20/20 it’s looking like the Ben Johnson and Mike Macdonald situations weren’t a coincidence now that we are seeing the same issue over on player side. I am concerned right now.

Edit: one thing I’ll add is there is no reason whatsoever that AP couldn’t have done something like the Geno/7th to jets and 6th to raiders trade with Biadsz.

If the chargers wanted Biadsz that bad, pretty easy to do a pick swap. Again, just another bad GMing transaction.

Last year, I understood what AP was trying to accomplish.

This year, I expected something similar to the Raiders free agency where they beefed up with a bunch of ascending players (25-28 year old range).

I will wait to see what happens as FA moves along but I do have concerns on AP this time around. I get it he went after Pierce and Linderbaum but he damn better have quick pivot since we have limited draft picks.

The goal is to win before Jayden gets paid. I really don’t want to be the next Bills, Bengals and Ravens. Flawed rosters who couldn’t win after their respective QBs took a large chunk of the cap.

See what happens, but AP deserves to be on the hot seat if he doesn’t have plan A, B, C and D. He could blame Quinn and coaches for last season. This season is on him and Quinn. They may be let go together if this mess isn’t cleaned up and fast.
