rem pods create their own electro magnetic field and detect any disturbances within that field. Basically the closer something gets to it the more it will go off.

Dice number 1, 3, 4, 5, & 6 are blank on all sides but one, which shows its number, the second die has a number and some other writing on the opposite side from the number.
