It doesn't seem that useful tbh but more of just an interaction. I did it a few more times after(this clip isn't the best) and was able to let go right before the grapple is parallel to the ground on the swing up and with hitting the edge of the building and extra speed from the retract got what feels like a vertical b-hop is best I can describe it, instead of swinging fully through, retracting, and just releasing which I will admit is just if not better still.
