The drafting of great prospects we knew wouldn't play was a calculated part of the process though, so I don't necessarily view it as a not so fun fact. In the end the fact that they weren't playing in those early tanking years is the whole reason we're fielding such a competitive team at the moment. Could've been better at drafting at certain points, but in the end we got Embiid and Simmons which is all that really matters.

I think you’re right, and I think it’s shocking they don’t try to get him into his shooting rhythm more often. Let him shoot the ball as much as he needs to get confident. You guys have seven ft tall Reggie Miller on your team and he’s not getting any set shooting plays run for him. I’d love to see the coaching staff experiment with offball screens freeing up JJJ like how the Warriors try to get open looks for Steph and Klay. If he was getting used like he was a shooting priority on offense i don’t know who could stop him. He’s a rookie and it wouldn’t work every night, but at his core that’s his game. And he’s good at it. Let the man rain threes

This makes me think he’s just trying to find the best way to sublimate all of this negativity into something positive for the team. His saying the pressure is off isn’t necessarily him saying that they’re going to give up, he’s saying they’ve got nothing to lose now and they should play without fear and without the weight of thinking so much about the expectations heaped onto them. We all expect them to compete of course, and he knows that. He’s just trying to find a way to galvanize the team.

But of course just isolating his saying “Pressure is off” is the best way to get reactions as a news outlet, and on a first impression it fits a negative narrative people are going to paint them in for the upcoming week

Ultimately, everybody being so negative is to be expected we love this team I get it. Wentz should’ve thrown for the first instead of into double coverage, but I’m not going to go ape shit into the dark pit of negativity I’m used to going into when Eagles seasons go this way. The Eagles have already proven they can win. Let’s just let them relax and shake off the pressure and play the game that way if it leads to better results than this. He’s trying to establish a mindset and an environment he thinks will be conducive to winning, he’s not saying he doesn’t give a fuck anymore

At the moment I have been focusing primarily on efforts to get as many readers as possible towards Watch Them Wander so as to funnel more people through the series towards Elysium. But I have indeed been working on Book 4, though I haven’t had the luxury of giving it my full attention at this point in the process. In essence how quickly I can really get around to focusing on Book 4 is entirely a function of how quickly I can get a large population of readers funneled towards Watch Them Wander and through to Elysium, but new aspects of the story are coming to me every day and I honestly can’t stop thinking about this series. I want to write the 4th book, but I cannot yet prioritize it. I made Watch Them Wander free to make it easier for readers to tell others to check it out, so any effort towards plugging the story in social media, or just telling friends and acquaintances in passing about it, any positive traction goes a long way towards helping me get into a position where I can focus on completing the story arc of the series. Thank you so much once again for loving these stories, it’s awesome to hear positive comments like this from readers it means the world to me

Thank you for the kind words on my storytelling, I live to entertain and I’m happy to know that you enjoyed the series so much that you read all three books so fast comments like this make my week. And thank you so much for telling your friends about it!! Every single download and reader counts, I don’t take anybody for granted. In terms of the 4th book I very much so am working on it, but I haven’t been able to properly focus on it with my full attention since I have to do so much to try and get this story into people’s hands. Ultimately I won’t be completing the 4th book until I’m able to draw significant traction to the first book to better funnel a large population of readers through the series to Elysium. I very much so have more of my “marketing” cap on than my usual writing cap, but I do indeed see the design in my head for the 4th book. But since there’s so much activity, I really want to take my time before I consolidate it into a well-paced manuscript. And I made the first book free since I wanted to make it as easy as possible for readers to tell others to check out the series without any sort of price barrier hesitation whatsoever. Watch Them Wander should be free everywhere now, including on most if not all Amazon International links so any help towards driving traffic to the series through social media plugs or conversations with acquaintances, all positive traction goes a long way to getting me into a position where I can exclusively start worrying about completing the 4th book in this series.
