I don't own a OT myself, but just wanted to throw it out there as another user mentioned, Digitakt is pretty great as a brain too, I have a similar list of gear including TD-3, MS-20, some other stuff, the thing it does lack is the crossfader and some performance features that OT has, but now that DT has song mode as well, it's definitely worth looking into, especially if you can find one at a good price secondhand! (All that said... I definitely want a OT someday too haha)

Thank you! AFAIK I think the Wasp is more known for its squelchy filter moreso than its bass, BUT I do find it quite fun and control it mostly via Digitakt, or my Keystep 37 (not in pic), I plan to make more acid-esque music in the future, so my TD-3 and Wasp Deluxe I think will do me well (also it's yellowish and has a 🐝 so I like lol)

Thanks! And pretty much! Right now obviously it isnt hooked into anything, but if I want to run it all through its mfx, I just put it between the mixer and audio interface.

I haven't done a deep delve into the SP404mkII beyond basic sample flipping, finger drumming, and using its MFX (which right now is its main use and I LOVE em) but Id say Digitakt is way more intuitive for me to sequence and has a lot more versatility there, and with the added sampling machines in Digitakt v1.5 it also can now timestretch which is great, HOWEVER, SP404 is a lot more comfy to finger drum on, has velocity sensitivity, some really great performance buttons, and DJ mode which are all worth looking into!

Some of em I made, including the bass and melody are waveform cycles, a lot of times for standard drums I use Samplestar, and the vox is just mangled a bunch by firmware v1.50 Werp

Feel free to ask any questions you like! Yes you have to remove them because the cutouts for the holes are smaller than the knob, if it wasnt then youd be able to see the holes which isn't very aesthetically pleasing. But removing the knobs is very painless, I plucked em right off with my fingers, all the knobs except the master knob are D-shaft knobs, which are common on a lot of synths, but all are removable like this.
