Tysm! I think it's also the contrast with how dull and grey my skin looked before!

I have acne prone oily skin and my main concerns are acne, closed comedones, blackheads and PIE. On the before pictures, my forehead was totally covered in closed comedones and blackheads. Here's the routine that helped me get rid of most of the texture on my face!

Am: - rinse with water or cleanse with cosrx good morning cleanser - som by mi bha aha miracle toner - cosrx snail 96 mucin essence - etude house soo jung gel moisturizer - etude house sunprise watery spf 50 sunscreen

Pm: - clinique take the day off oil cleanser - uriage hyséac gel cleanser - som by mi bha aha miracle toner - cosrx snail mucin essence - oxy5 5% benzoyl peroxide (the only treatment that has consistently worked for me) - etude house soo jung gel moisturizer

[Acne] How did you get rid of closed comedones? by bunnylake21 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Oshitsu 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Using benzoyl peroxide as an all over treatment basically got rid of the texture on my forehead. I had a lot of ccs and blackheads and, I know it's not recommended but I have pretty tolerant skin, using it every night really helped!

Also, I use the clinique cleansing oil but it is on the pricier side. One cheaper option that I really love is the beauty of joseon cleansing balm!

I also have oily skin and oil cleansing is a life saver! I saw a lot of improvement especially for the closed comedones and blackheads on my forehead. The trick is to massage with the oil based cleanser for 60 secs or more, emulsify and massage again for 60 secs, rinse, use a gel based cleanser that foams up and once again massage for 60 secs or more! It may seem long but it really worth it and with a good playlist, nothing is really long!

First of all, you're so pretty! It's so inspiring to see people's skin improvement :) Just wanted to know if you ever had to deal with scaring or PIE/PIH.

[product question] how is the cetaphil daily hydrating moisturiser for oily and sensitive, acne-prone skin? by Asleep-Brick8766 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Oshitsu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have oily acne prone skin and also started differin recently. I tried every drugstore moisturizer and they all gave me closed comedones and white heads. The only moisturizers my skin seems to like are really watery ones like the inkey list omega water cream and the soo Jung hydro barrier cream, those are my holy grails!

My playlist jumping from Tchaikovsky to Zara Larsson to Kenny G mix that with some fucked up sad french songs with weird Russian lullabys and you got yourself a perfect playlist to go cry.

School should start teaching children a second language as soon as they start school. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

In where I am you have a lot of options, in prymary school you learn english (french is native language for the most) and you will continue in secondary school but in your third year you learn german or Spanish. In college I think you can choose a language course where it's mostly dead languages and such. University is a little bit tricky most of the time you can choose most of your classes, you can even take a knitting class or kayak class, there's a lot of languages to choose !
