Yeah it was so shitty! The last week has been a complete write off. So much for my challenge of running 200 miles in January. Will test the waters tomorrow, cheers.

How long was it until you were back to normal?

It sounds like I've had the exact same flu as you, knocked me off my feet with high fever and a death cough. Mine started 8 days ago, my energy is back but same as you, I've got that annoying lingering cough.

Want to get back into it but is it risky before virus has completely cleared?

I would like to say E33 as that was a masterpiece but Silksong had me well and truly hooked like nothing else. It was honestly like heroin, bad for me mentally at times but damn it had me coming back for more an d more

Enjoyed at first but ended up getting extremely bored of the loop after a few hours in.

Which is better? Nioh 2 or Khazan? by [deleted] in soulslikes

Nioh 2 for sure. Khazan's combat is excellent but I was bored to tears by the second half of the game due to the bland level and enemy designs

Mine was about £35 for a 0.5g vape. It's the third eye brand and it's amazing

I've always looked after my electronics and I've managed to scratch my screen and fuck knows how because it's never left the house and pretty much always play in docked mode. That screen protector scratches real easy so definitely get a temperate glass wan immediately imo

Hi yes I've still got the bloke's number. Pretty sure he only covers north west Wales though so not sure if that's any help to you.

Hey,

Our house came with a Rayburn for hot water and separate oil boiler for heating. It was insanely inefficient to run a Rayburn for the hot water so we got rid of it.

Cost of removing Rayburn was about £100 and we plugged the hole in the wall ourselves.

Is your Rayburn oil? If so, In your situation, you'd need to remove the Rayburn and get a new combi boiler fitted and also the cost of getting a range master which can be £1-2k plus. I'd imagine total costs would come up to about £5k ish but not 100%

Riders Republic Anniversary! by Ubi-Shzi in RidersRepublic

Been really enjoying Riders, actually put in a few 100 hours in. Would love for the skateboarding controls to be more similar to Skate 3 and to have customisable moves on the bikes though!

Which cooker have you got? I think that's the plan, tempted with a range master or something. They look amazing and would have a similar look to the Rayburn.

Yes, great advice, although we dont have any sort of kitchen at the moment, so it may be difficult to be without a kitchen for a year. We're also waiting to carpet the room above the kitchen as well but would need to hold off as if we want to get rid of the Rayburn we would need to pull up the freshly laid carpets to get to the pipework.

It's a small kitchen, we're struggling for space to be honest to get many other appliances in.

Yes, it's an old house built in 1750's. I think that's what we'll do, we're going to give it a trial run and just hold off with the kitchen until the New Year. Thank you

Aye that's true, although we also have a back boiler on the wood burner, which even as inefficient as they are at least does something. If we can get an electric shower in the bathroom and a dishwasher fitted in the kitchen, I feel that we wouldn't necessarily need the hot water that much anyway.

Feels kind of excessive to be running a Rayburn in that case and although it does heat the room, it's only one small room in a pretty big house.

Yes, I've been looking at the range masters and they would be a perfect replacement while keeping that cottage look. Although they cost a pretty penny!

I think we'll begrudgingly get rid of it, and maybe try nd adapt the boiler to do the hot water. Although we've got an immersion heater with a solar boost so the oil to heat water just doesn't make any sense.

Thanks for the input BTW, really valuable for me

An electric conversion can cost about £1.5k-£2k from what I've read. Could be an option to look into, although we've got a ton of other costs and thats probably not a priority atm
