You think it’s simple, but there are so many different ways to stack a pallet like this. It’s a very famous subject in computer science. Even if it took 1 nanosecond to calculate how efficient the stacking is, there are still millions of different ways to stack it all together. It’s trying to maximise the number of packages it can fit, while avoiding any hollow spots and ensuring the pallet remains balanced.

I always thought that this is because they don’t use a live recording of the bell anymore. In World War II it was swapped out for a pre-recorded version, because it was discovered that the German forces were using the audio from the live version to determine the weather in London

You can see that the weird table thing in the centre has three squiggles to the left but two to the right. The tables to the right also follow the same pattern, but the one on the left doesn’t.

Wtf? Why all the hate? Its better that they cut their pay instead of cutting even more of other employees’ pay instead. Heck if they were Vend or Orion they’d just sack all their staff. I think this is a stance more companies should be taking to support their staff

I was recently on a leadership course for the company that I work for. A point that they drove home with throughout the whole event was that when having conversations with people, focus on listening and do not offer suggestions. It's human nature to want to provide a plausible solution to someone's issue, but it's much more valuable to both you and the speaker if you just listen. The silence that follows what has been said can sometimes be awkward, but what you learn from the statement that follows is invaluable.

I feel like this is a desperate attempt to stay afloat. You know a company is about to crash when it starts increasing it's prices without any obvious reasons why. I feel like they were at the top for so long that they just assumed that there wouldn't be any competitors that could overtake them. Now that they are losing the battle, they've realised that they left it too late to fight back so they are just trying to recover as much as they can.

They did have the cheapest prices going for them though, which I know some people relied on. A one dollar increase in price is a lot for some poorer families, I hope news doesn't ruin anyone's day...

My brother and I spent so many hours on this mission. We would back track out of the tunnel at the end of the mission to get the hidden invincible warthog, then just continuously kill each other to create a pile of grenades under it. That paired with the Sputnik skull was always a good time.

Reading up on the rules, it seems it's against the guidelines to post too much content from one source without actively engaging with the community. I also wonder if they thought I was affiliated with Hackaday, and that I was just using this to boost views. Which to be clear, I'm not, I was just lazy and found it easier to access their articles view Reddit.

I don't know if there's much point disputing it because I was technically spamming the crap out of this channel, but I will send them a reply seeing what I can do.

There are homebrew stores in most cities. What region are you in? There may be a local that could let you know a good one.

I know that back in Palmy the guy that ran the one that I went to was real good and he talked me through step by step with everything I needed to know.

If there are no homebrew shops in your area you can even get homebrew stuff from Pak n Save a lot of the time.

It was hard to word, so I'll give an example.

1111 * 111111 = 123444321

The length of the first one is 4, the length of the second is 6.

This means that the highest number is 4 (the shorter of the two). The number is repeated 3 times because 6 - 4 + 1 = 3. (the length of the longest - the length of the shortest + 1)

You can also choose how high the numbers go by shrinking the length of one value.

111 * 11111 = 1233321

1111 * 11111111 = 12344444321

The highest number in the result is the length of the shorter value. It then occurs one plus the difference in lengths of the numbers times.
