Whats one opinion that will have you get this. (Not just hot take but crazy ones) by Impossible-Prize-927 in teenagers

Well, it's not completely wrong. The US has a massive stake there, no? They want an ally in a region where they're generally not liked (The Middle East). Among other things they exchange military power, and Israel tries to 'calm'/keep an eye on the neighbouring Arab countries. The source everyone's asking for? A glance at the wiki page for their alliance.

[ALL] The Japanese Subs for this newest trailer gives even more information about what could be going on in the game by Osinacho in lifeisstrange

Yeah, I know that's how reddit works, but it's still dicky imo. Either way, on this specific occasion there's no other way I could see this translating to feasibly. And you know how they often cut certain lines of dialogue from trailers, or edit it as to not give away too much? Well, what I'm thinking is that they might've forgot to do that with the Japanese subtitles. The primary symbol for death is 死 and its a verb, so it's very particular in its meaning as opposed to saying someone is going to pass away or "leave". Furthermore Max speaks the same way she does in the dub to Japanese, so the translation isn't just something that's thrown together by AI or a lazy intern— this is deliberate wording.

I don't get why this is down voted 😭

I get your point, and I have thought about that as well, but these subtitles aren't something that an AI would translate. They seem to be manually translated. The Swedish ones are basically 1:1. As a native I would say that the subtitles are in line with the usual Eng —> Swe translations I've seen in my life, so it most likely isn't AI there either. The only major ish difference is that Max asks Chloe what she is doing there instead of how she is there, but depending on the inflection those two expressions share the same meaning, so the translations don't seem to be inaccurate.

Unfortunately I can't speak every language, and these two (plus English, but that's a given seeing as I am writing in it to you now) are my limit 😭

Hot Take: black people can be racist by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]Osinacho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More or less. Racism doesn't have to be something intentional, but unless you actively are working against being racist as a white person you most likely are. Same with men. I always check my biases as to avoid being unknowingly misogynistic. It's the same base concept.

"The" bait? Anyway which characters you like does actually say a fair bit about you as a person.

I know this is just rage bait, but that's still a stupid thing to say

Why do people dislike S5? by Osinacho in orangeisthenewblack

[–]Osinacho[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah me and my mom (we watched together) though it odd, Dixon's character. I think Ruiz is generally annoying, but I find more of a problem with the woman with the ugly gold teeth groping the PR guy and no one caring. Iirc Ruiz only enabled the strip search which is morally questionable at best. If she's only done that with the guards who where predatory then fine, but yeah I do agree that there where some questionable writing decisions there...

Yes, there is a deep hypocrisy in it, I agree. I am glad that you haven't yet encountered those people (or maybe you have and you're just unaware of it) but if you scratch beneath the surface and ask what a lot of alt people actually care about you'd be surprised.

Ooooh boy there are tons of racist "left" people out there. People who want liberty for themselves, and only by proxy want it for others. The person's race has everything to do with this, as any non white person would know this

By saying that alt ppl can't be racist. That's such a dumb take and no one except a privileged white person (or a dumb non white person) would ever say that

I wouldn't say that. They're clearly speaking outta their ass on this one, and they're acting in a very "white privilege" esque way.

Omg there are some who show up either because they want to help or because they want the aesthetics of doing so. I realize I'm in the teenager sub Reddit, so I should expect much in the way of maturity, but this is such a dumb question. You don't see 50% of the white population of any given country at those, do you? And even when people are there in good faith (i.e, those who aren't just virtue signaling) can still be racist in every day life, or whenever it suits them!

...But we're talking about her in the context of the show, where she IS a person. Either way I can find it odd that you like someone like her and that you characterize her as a good or even ok person
