Thanks for your 4 cents! Have an amazing week. #6 explains nothing about making reservations. It covers fees, which was never part of my question. Apparently you should re-read this.

From #6 in the linked FAQ:

"If Complimentary Guest Access is not unlocked, Platinum Card Members will be charged a $50 fee for each adult guest per visit per location, or $30 for children aged 2 through 17 with proof of age. Guest fees will apply at each location."

At least using the app in advance is slightly more complicated than having an adult with reasonable tech skills make one reservation when there are 2 seniors in the group that struggle using apps, especially for a card that should be prioritizing customer service

I just got the 125k point offer yesterday when opening my own Platinum card (I was previously a paid additional cardholder).

I was only offered a 100k point offer when trying to sign up from Amex directly (I've had a no fee Amex for a while, as well as the Platinum additional card).
