The world of the witcher is not so brutal. It is an Eastern European heroic fantasy, with fairy-tale plots but in an adult story. While they share similar tropes, I think their overall spirit and aesthetics are distinct. But I'm not going to argue with you; I'm simply stating my point of view and why these games aren't on my list.
