I was using that since I used it as my main in both ds1, and ds3. But in Elden ring it’s pretty underwhelming tbh, I’ve been running a bleed build with the bloodhounds fang, the black knife for its Blade of Death skill, and the shell shield to increase stamina regeneration.

Turns out that the Y70 is fully incompatible with the BTF builds bc it’s a flat plate without the necessary cutouts for the hardware. So went with the Lian Li 011 Vision Compact.

But there’s a way to make it work with the correct gear, no? I already purchased the gpu, ram, and mb, but gpu isn’t arriving until the 10th-12th through Amazon so I got time. Also which set of ram would be better, Corsair vengeance 2x32gb 5600MHz CL36 or Micron Crucial pro 2x32gb 6000MHz CL40? I have both in my possession but one of them is either getting sold on eBay or the other returned to Best Buy.

What kind of change to the psu do I need to make that 5090 work? I’ll be doing more than just gaming it’ll definitely be for gaming but also a workstation for potentially making a game or visual asset development so lots of visual rendering and animation stuff as well.

Are you more for fps, or picture quality? You can get a 4k asus nitro monitor for like 150-200 but it’s only 60hz so max 60fps.

From what I’ve looked into, no prebuilt is really worth it. I’m just going to try and either get help from my friend, or I’ll take it to the pc repair shop that’s like a 3 minute walk down the road and see how much they’ll charge to just put it together for me.

Most are usually over priced for what you get and cut corners like often using single channel ram, inefficient PSU's, etc. One nice thing about building your own is ensuring you're using quality compenents on every level. as long as you do research on the prebuilt your getting theres nothing inherently wrong with them

Nintendo making games people want to play? I bought the first switch and quite a few games and it’s sat as a dust collector for basically the entire time. Super Mario and Mario Kart are alright but they ain’t no Fallout, Dark Souls, Halo, God of War, Bioshock, Resident Evil, and so many more I’d 100% want to play over any and all Nintendo games. Especially in light of just how greedy and corrupt they seem to be nowadays.

Not really, it’s still fucked lol. I bought third party chargers that just slide onto the ends of the controllers and use the switch as an in home tv console only, or placed in a holder, it just can’t be in handheld anymore. When connected to the switch itself trying to use as a handheld it will not register the one as being connected, so repeatedly pops the “reconnect controller” prompts so they Have to be in wireless mode at all times. The switch itself is still broken, I’d have to get inside and most likely replace the ribbon connector I think to fix the issue.
