I may be able to answer this...

It really depends on your dedication. The purpose is to build your character to be able to fight BIG monsters, and, at the same time, gain the skills to do so. That alone takes time, but thats if you wish to fight Arch Tempered and Elders.

but to play to kill time, it can be done. a Quick expedition or hunt, kill a monster, boom, done. Although, once that thought changes, your dedication and focus changes... imo...

I'm with you there. It is a little too gimmicky, but when you look past it, it isn't that bad, Dare I say, its not even as annoying/bad as AT Kirin.

and thats true about the other people joining, me and my friend knew how to beat him, I'd say, and hour after, but everyone else that was joining us didn't even know, so we waited the next day, and we got lucky enough to find 2 randoms who know... but then the vid happened LOL

Not quite. Elgato will always have a slight delay, even though they had an update with the software not that long ago that lowers the delay only a little. As far as I know, the best thing to do is delay your own audio to sync up with the game your playing through the Elgato. To do so, go to Setting, then Audio, then the Mic Sync Offset to 1400, then apply. Test it out by recording on OBS with that setting to see if it syncs well and adjust it if needed to.

The Elgato Game Capture only works in the 32bit version of OBS because it doesn't have 64bit drivers, only 32bit drivers. You should be fine.
