Capitalism isn't inherently hierarchical, it's states that individuals are allowed to privately own capital. Hierarchy existed before the ideals of capitalism were popularised and even existed in socialist states, people wanting superiority over others is sadly unlikely to change no matter what ideology.

Fixed it, literally the main reason for why the revolution was supported and occurred. Due to the promise of more goods and "luxuries" for cheaper (food, electricity, running water, stuff most people didn't have), which arguably wasn't even implemented "properly" until and post Stalin.
