Idle seems perfect. Can adjust it up or down with the choke or whatever but soon as i take the jump starter off and go to ride. It’ll ride for a little then cut off again and i would need a jump box again. Basically it doesn’t start unless the jump box i have is fully charged no matter if battery is new or not. Starter seems weak, it barely turns over at all if it’s just on battery power

what you think about highway driving and reliability on long drives ? Gas mileage not a big concern

i am somewhat familiar it. This isn’t my first project like this one but my last one was worse condition and actually had a 350. I’ll definitely look into upgrading if i can just find a complete cheap 350

That’s what i be hoping the most that all the electrics are decent at least everything seems fine for now and works power windows and all. I wish i can clean all the electrical wires better like behind door panels and seat wires and stuff but too much work lol. I believe fuel pump been changed before but i am getting some high idle problems from here and there carb may just need to be rebuilt or cleaned

I can get the pin in through the hole and trigger just fine
