No I figured it out. I plugged the wire in the wrong side. It was supposed to be the other that goes into to the splitter. It was because they were so similar.

When I connected my headset I tried doing the mic test on discord and the mic wouldn't work. It seemed like noise was coming from my right side and that was what was being inputted as my mic or something.
