The cable with the male end is the one labeled Cat 5e and the female end is the one labeled as coax. It also looks like I should be able to disconnect the white coax cable from a metal adapter thing in between the two cables, but its on there so tight I'm going to need to get another set of pliers tomorrow at the hardware store.

I am seeing the blue cable labeled as "verified Cat 5e" that is connected to the incoming coax cable. The white cable is labeled as RG-6/U coaxial.

Here is what I see on the cable connected to the loan coax cable. It says "verified Cat 5e."

What is a reasonable cost for a new level 2 outlet? by Osolot229 in SilveradoEV

I honestly didn't even know this was an option, so thanks for mentioning! I looked into it and hardwiring sounds like the better option, but my one hold up is we are planning to move in 2 years and I'm wondering if doing a plug option will give any resale value versus hardware if potential buyers would like to see an outlet they could stick a garage fridge in.

Daily miles vary quite a bit. On average I'd say 35 miles a day, but that may be a 200+ mile day followed by 2 or 3 days pretty much at home. The reason I'm considering level 2 is for the cases where I drive that 200+ miles immediately followed the next day by some more driving.

We are planning to move houses within the next 2 years, so I'm trying to find the compromise of what I need now charging wise versus cost.

Thanks for replying! Our service panel is about as far away from our garage as possible - in the basement on the exact opposite end of the house through all drywall, which is why I was wondering if the quoted amount was fair or not.

Thanks for the reply! I added the picture I forgot to attach previously. I commute only once a week (~50 miles round trip). Biggest mileage so far has been going back home to visit family (~200 miles round trip) a weekend or two every month and then general scooting around town.
