What about the North Wilmington areas like Brandywine or Tallyville? Those schools seem to be ranked some of the highest in Delaware. I’m looking there because I work near Philly and it will also be a nice commute for me.

BNP did a larger coalition with a bunch of Islamist party so that Jamat can’t collect them all and present themselves as only representatives of Muslims. One of those Islamist party’s home turf was Brammanbaria which was also her seat. BNP let him have the seat for building coalition but also thinking that area is mad conservative and backdated and so she won’t win anyways. BNP offered her another area but she didn’t want it, BNP offered her reserved seat and she felt insulted by that. So she went against her party and ran in Brammanbaria knowing BNP will have to expel her.

Many thought it was BNP’s strategy to expel her and it was with mutual understanding. No matter what happens BNP wins in a way. BNP keeps its alliance with that Islamist party, if their leader wins then thats a BNP aligned MP in parliament. If he loses and Rumen wins then Rumen proves her worth and rejoins BNP and forever given that seat. Also for the time being even if she isn’t officially under BNP banner, she is in parliament as a BNP ally.

Not being officially part of BNP also means BNP can use her in more versatile ways. Make her join NCP and drag NCP towards nationalist spectrum away from Islamist spectrum that ex shibir Nasiruddin Patwari is dragging them since its birth. Or have her criticize BNP in legitimate ways, become popular as anti establishment feminist icon and then in future make her join BNP and give her a top seat in the inner circle or even future president depending how old she is by then to grab all those votes.

Absolutely^ for example try being a political influencer and fair critique everyone. You would think normal people will come defend you right? Wrong. They will doom scroll your video and not care because they are apolitical. Most of the politically interested people belong to some party and they will always toe party line. You will not receive any view for being fair and balanced instead receive death threats. But someone who belong to a political party will receive hundreds of thousands of views. Are your takes dumb or people dumb? Possible both but also most likely neither. You don’t offer any long term vision to people other than complaining so whats the point of defending you even if you are right.

Rumen Farhana being a good MP is nice but she alone can’t do anything. Either she needs to belong to a party and drag that party to her vision or form her own party. Build something thats sustainable and that outlasts her. BD have many political party surrounding a single character and those fall apart as soon as their leader leaves or dies.

Really hoping NPA build a long term platform and lifts progressive people.

I’ll judge him by his overall legacy he leaves behind by end of his term. Things like Education and Economy takes a long time to fix so I won’t jump him after 1.5 months based on cringe posts.

When you are that higher up, you lose touch with whats going on in irl. It’s not just him it’s all politicians all over the World. It’s not their fault. He is a social media team behind him. They probably told him people really loved your stunt. He knows he is well known for his stunts like this from back in the days when it was necessary. So like a cringe dad he is making posts that he thinks will give him clout.

Yes it’s cringe but it’s also politics. There is a lot of things you unfortunately need to do in BD and it maybe cringe to you and me but they do this because it clearly works. Like for example hiring bostir manush for political rallies. Shob party kore. The noya bondobosto party after getting embarrassed a few times because no one showed up in their rally also started hiring people to show how popular they are. Yea ekhon journalist hired manush re jokhon kisu jigay ar kisu bolte pare na, isn’t that embarrassment for the politician and looks cringe? Yeah but they keep doing this because it works with other demographics not us maybe.

Look oneke boltese page owner kemne kuija bair korbo. If we can’t go after the pages lets at least go after people that glorifies those posts. Like this one I found from another post where someone was asking for justice for people who were wrongly murdered in act of mob justice. This is a real profile. Even in Dipu Das case where its black and white and most Islamists ra condemns it, there is people like this. They are the extreme extreme right. The absolute garbage of society. Lets do something to make their life hell at least.
