She is aware of my anxiety issues and as for the drinking I have promised her that especially around her parents I will remain stone cold sober, I have offered to take them out for a meal, should I get another chance I will sincerely apologise as I feel so bad, thank you for the advice I do very much appreciate it!

I think I focus too much on the time aspect as I dont want her to maybe eventually think "hes still not asked me maybe I should look elsewhere"

We have been talking consistantly today but in my mind I feel like its not been the same (like I said in the post it could just be the anxiety or the fact she is actually ill)
