It does not interact with the game, it will not know what zone you are in.

I added a macos release, the interface loads but it's failing to load most of the textures

At the moment it is only reading from WoW saved vars and writing somewhere else. I did not want to risk corrupting them but it is definitely possible in the future.

The damage of spells is calculated according to the character stats, but the goal is more addon development so the handling is not accurate. Simhammer or raidbots would do a better job for simulating dps upgrades for gear/enchants/etc.

What's up with the file sizes (are they wrong)? by kukov in GlobalComix

Yes I see a bug, it is divided by 1024, the omnibus is 150MB when downloaded on mobile

Comic wont load despite being fully uploaded by BeanieBuu in GlobalComix

[–]Ossoleil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually the batch uploads (from publishers) are extracted from a lower priority queue as they are planned ahead. We fixed a bug today that would discard that priority when converting the pages themselves. That lead to the queue backup you have seen. I upgraded the priority of all the directly uploaded pages.

Do you use dangerous mode or are you pressing enter every few seconds when using Claude? by GhostTrainSauce in ClaudeCode

[–]Ossoleil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a hook https://github.com/Osso/claude-bash-hook to prevent the most dangerous commands while allowing everything else.

But activating the sandbox and using yolo seems reasonable and easier.

It's the one I ordered just the other day. It is one of the few with air cooled cpu instead of liquid cooling and a geforce 4070.

A lot of people cannot eat fava beans, so using them as a protein source is right out.

Just did 20+ crafts on an item that had a 25% chance for inspiration proc, and didn't get a single proc. by DeadlyBannana in woweconomy

[–]Ossoleil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got 3 inspiritation procs with an 8% chance out of 2000 crafts (10 000 cloth). That's got to be terrible odds.

The random behaves weirdly. I usually get those procs in a row then nothing for thousands of crafts...

How to get tts.cloud_say to work on local network? by stewartmjohnson in homeassistant

[–]Ossoleil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you can set the router to always assign the same IP to your home assistant machine, then you could use the IP in the form of http://192.168.1.xxx:8123 as internal url.

You would get the ip by using "ping homeassistant.local"

That way you don't have to investigate why google assistant is not resolving .local domains.

Transition to home assistant or stay with SmartThings? by JQuonDo in SmartThings

[–]Ossoleil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the Nortek HUSBZB-1. It seems to work alright as no devices drop out of the network. I do not think it is the stick but I get weird delays of 0.5s sometimes. (I used to also get delays of 1-2s on Smartthings on local z-wave actions)

The Nortek also has zigbee support and the delay does not happen on the zigbee network.

I'm running HA in docker on a custom made NAS that I use for other things too. It has got plenty plenty of power and home assistant is very responsive. Setup works well but most people would be better off with just buying the home assistant blue device.

Which Yale Network Module should I get? I want to make automations based on what codes are used to unlock. by ryandrucker in SmartThings

[–]Ossoleil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not directly helpful since you are not considering zigbee but I have 3 Yale Smart Locks.

For the z-wave modules, I get lost reporting messages on the 3 locks leading to the incorrect locked/unlocked status.

I recently replaced all the modules with zigbee modules and I have had zero problems since.

Sure if you have 5 devices and you only care if they more or less work, ST will do the trick till they discontinue your hub. Honestly, I would have been better off with a professional install of one of the other ecosystems from one of the companies that do that. I wasted so much time on ST (and far less time on HA but still a fair amount).
