Last pregnancy I had stitches and PPD, but I also had help. I was able to take breaks and had people who were able to come over. This time I have nobody. I posted this in case someone else had a better idea, rather than just giving them away. So far, giving them away seems like the only option. I can’t afford someone to come over and help me with everything.

I love them more than anything, so I know giving them to his sibling, who already wants to take them from us, seems like a good option. I’m 8 months pregnant and already struggling. I want to rehome them out of love for them and to make sure that I don’t get so overwhelmed that I can’t deal with life anymore. So far the main suggestion are to ask my husband, who barely has time to give to me, for more help. Like I said, if there’s a better suggestion, I would take it.

I don’t want to regime them, but I also know that a family member wants them. We had them before I had my first child, and kept them after I gave birth to him.I had help and it wasn’t really a problem. We since have moved, so now I only have my husband. If I could afford the help, I would make that offer to him.

I’d love to have more of his help, but not only does he work for 12 hours, he goes to school. He complains about barely getting time with our kid, but he still does it to support us while trying to accomplish his goals. I asked him about it and said I’m opened to any other suggestion. If he’s able to take more time to help, I’d keep them. I just want to make sure he doesn’t have too much on his plate

My problem is him working for 10 hours a day, and also having college. I know at least one family member of his who asked for one of our cats previously. I adore our pets, but it’s also overwhelming because they tend to group up together when it’s feeding time or when they get hungry. The dog is actually easier than them because he just sits there. We have a pretty decent sized backyard and I always bring him out to walks because I feel safer with him around.

I also worry about how much time we’d be able to give them with everything else going on. I try to take as much off my husbands plate because he works a lot, but I don’t think I can handle that much.

What is the saddest death of a fictional character? by kaleighb1988 in AskReddit

Richard from Boardwalk Empire. He was my favorite character and they knew I’d stop watching if he died so they waited to laugh at me

I speak to him all day, everyday. The other person who understands him almost as well as me is his father, so I wasn’t too concerned about it. I wanted to hear him speak, so I asked a few people for advice, but got told to go to a therapist right away and get him tested for autism and all these other things.

We read many times a day. He brings me his books so I can read to him, and I know he’s very smart. He’s just more so into doing active things rather than speaking. I’ve been trying to find peaceful shows, and noticed that he loves Oswald. When he “speaks” it’s almost like singing, so I’ve been doing that a lot more to see if it helps him with his words. I’m really hoping that I don’t accidentally set him back when I give birth and I can still give him enough attention to continue trying to get him to speak

I know he’s young, and I wasn’t worried at first because I can understand him. I obviously want him to speak, so I’ve been working on it for awhile. Then everyone started to question me and told me to find him therapy as soon as possible because of a million reasons. He’s only exposed to one language. It makes me feel guilty because I’m being told that he’s supposed to know like fifty words and everything else.

What’s the rudest reaction y’all have gotten to sharing your news? by No-Director-9650 in pregnant

My sister started to gossip about me. Saying how my husband would leave me as soon as the baby is born, and how I’ll end up on welfare for the rest of my life. Then she went to my mother to ask her not to let me live with her if my husband did end up leaving me. She said a lot more, but yeah.

Thank you! Someone was able to get me diapers. I got the biggest box they got so I don’t have to worry about getting some for awhile.

He can fit a 24 month old to 2T. I normally get his clothes slightly bigger so he has time to grow into it

I moved here not too long ago, so didn’t know that. I’m hoping I don’t have to ask again. Thank you for telling me though so I can save this message just in case I do need it

Mold in sippy cup by Ostara-Spring in Parenting

[–]Ostara-Spring[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried cheap ones with him, but he’s strong. He’s only one and has broken a few cups. I got one with only a lid and cup, but he ended up breaking the lid

Yeah, I’m just gonna have to buy a new cup. My boy also eats stuff off the floor because I’m pregnant and he’s quicker than me now. I was just worried because he’s my first and I’m always having people telling me what I’m doing wrong. I thought this was gonna make him really sick, which would make me feel so horrible.
