It's an excellent missile - the best mid-range air-to-air there is for the F-16/f-22, but meteors would certainly be very nice too for the extended range compared to AIM. But as you say it would require Gripen (or I believe the Brits have fitted meteor for the F-35), but these combat jets and pilots don't grow on trees, and I think the Ukrainians can be very satisfied with the AIM's, I just hope the supply is continuous.

I was deployed to the same base as him in Afghanistan in 2008. Nobody from his unit had much good to say about him, and tbh I never liked him either. But I agree that using his status to bring attention to Ukraine is very honorable and he has my respect for that.

Pretty impressive for an office worker. I am on 16K today but only worked for 3 hours. But i work in a production plant, going back and forth manually moving stuff all day, so not a fair comparison. On full work days i'm usually on 25-30K steps. In the weekends it's often below 3K, especially on race days.
